Gary LaBranche, FASAE, CAE, is the President & CEO of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), a global organization with 56 chapters and 140,000 members, serving middle market companies and their advisors.
His 30+ year career in association management includes service as CEO for three organizations and on the staff of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining ACG, LaBranche served as president and CEO for the Association Forum of Chicagoland, where he was responsible for identifying, demonstrating and educating association professionals about best practices and knowledge essential to association operations. At ASAE he was also the executive responsible for the 6,000-person “Super Bowl of Conventions,” and more than 150 other meetings and exhibitions every year and is the author of more than 250 columns and podcasts, published 40+ articles on association management and made over 350 presentations to association leaders. LaBranche has consulted with over 300 associations around the world.
